YARNfest 2011 is over!…update after day 5 “Ten Stories About Smoking”

What a fantastic night we had on Wednesday night – it’s taken YARN HQ a full day to recover enough to report! We launched Stuart Evers’ new short story collection ‘Ten Stories About Smoking’ on Wednesday night at the Queen of Hoxton creating a smoky underbelly where artists took on stories in the collection and interpretted them into their own mediums. We saw knock-out performances from The Strumpettes, Quattro Formaggio, Verity Flecknell (Storm in a Teacup collective), Chimene Suleyman and Camila Fiori, Becky Wright and the man himself, Stuart Evers. The book is a stunning collection and will be out from the 4th of March but we highly recommend pre-ordering to make sure you receive the fabulous special edition boxed copy. Thanks so much to the team at Picador who showed us the book those many months ago, and without whom our YARNfest 2011 finale couldn’t have happened.
